Youthreach offers no fee 1:1 life-skills programming on prevalent issues impacting today’s youth. Our 1:1 program is facilitated with support of engaging videos, discussions, games, and hands-on activities.
Program Details
Youthreach offers voluntary, no fee 1:1 life-skills programming on prevalent issues impacting today’s youth. Youthreach programming is short term and typically is completed in three to five 1-hour sessions. Session length, delivery method or content can be modified for individual need!
Programming can be offered in the community, at our community offices in Belleville/Trenton or virtually. Programs are created by Youthreach staff and facilitated with age-appropriate engaging videos, discussions, games, and hands-on activities! Youthreach stives to develop programming on a continuous basis to meet the ever-changing needs of youth.
Please note, this program is not counselling and does not provide any crisis and trauma support.

Program Goals
Youthreach aims to provide youth the space to explore new and potentially challenging information, provide practical tools for them to apply in their lives and a space to ask those burning questions. Youthreach’s goal is to provide youth with up to date and relevant information on these important topics so youth can move through life with knowledge of the law, tools for their toolbox, and where they can reach out for further support.
- Youthreach is a voluntary program; youth must be consenting to attend
- Youth ages 8-17 and residing within Hastings and Prince Edward
- Note: Youth with chargeable offences are ineligible. See Extrajudicial Measures for appropriate referral information.
- Youthreach 1:1 is open to any youth meeting the eligibility criteria! Youth themselves, parents/guardians, or the youth supports can refer to the program.
