Youthreach provides engaging and interactive no fee group workshops for youth aged 8 to 17. We address those hot topics that youth are encountering daily whether it be at school, in relationships or online.
Program Details
Youthreach group workshops offer youth opportunities to explore topics and get helpful information about important issues young people are dealing with daily. Our Youthreach group workshops are facilitated with engaging videos, discussions, activities, and demonstrations to keep youth engaged and help make the material stick! Youthreach also offers more unique group opportunities for youth to explore these topics in a different delivery method, such as art therapy.
Youthreach releases the upcoming workshop calendar seasonally, winter, spring, summer and fall, and are available to view on Instagram or in the “What’s Happening” news. To register use the “contact us” email link to get in touch with the Youthreach team, or by clicking the refer button below.
Workshops are hosted after school, during March Break and throughout the summer. Youthreach facilitates workshops in our community offices, local youth groups and other community partners within Hastings and Prince Edward.

Program Goals
Youthreach aims to provide youth with the space to explore new and potentially challenging information, meet new people, provide practical tools for them to apply in their lives and a space to ask those burning questions. Youthreach’s goal is to provide youth with up to date and relevant information on these important topics so youth can move through life with knowledge of the law, tools for their toolbox, and understanding of where they can reach out for further support.
- Youthreach is a voluntary program; youth must be consenting to attending our group workshops
- Youth ages 8-17 and residing within Hastings and Prince Edward
- Youthreach groups are open to any youth meeting the eligibility criteria! Youth themselves, parents/guardians, or the youth’s support can refer to the program.
- The Youthreach team can bring their programs on the road and join existing groups, including youth centres, youth groups, teams, or schools. Fee-for-service may be required.
